How oceans are made

  • Over a time outer planet begin to move slowly away from sun throwing gravitational force of solar system off balance.

  • this cause several early planets to be thrown into deep space and around 4 million years ago remain debris was pelted against planet this period known as 'late heavy bombardment' left Behind crater/scare an still on faves of moon, mars and other rocky planets.

  • but on earth search crater have been hidden by action of volcamism or worn away buy atmosphere,

  • due to this bombardment there are left a relic - array of element such as gold, copper sank to core so deposit we find in crust must have arrived on asteroid and comet at later date.

  • most important delivery is water early solar system is too hot for water to settle but by heavy bombardment time temperature dropped simultaneously.

  • when comet crashed into surface of early planet water did not boil off immediately but instead formed vast ocean.

  • after hundred of million of year planet had settle into their orbit and began to grow and evolve.

  • volcanism shape their surfaces while deep inside molten core began to cool.

  • core of smaller terrestrial planet solidified without flow of mettalic core their magnetic field fuzzy so leaving their atmosphere unshielded from solar wind.
